Trelawny success through continued training & development

As part of our ongoing programme of development we are pleased to announce a number of the Trelawny team have successfully completed NVQ’s at varying levels and within different areas of the business, including customer services, warehouse and distribution, purchasing and logistics.
This has extended through to management level where two level 4 management modules have been achieved with a third one almost complete.
Trelawny as an organisation is committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its employees and have found the NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) way of learning to be perfectly suited to the development of individuals in the workplace.
NVQ National Vocational Qualification is a continual assessment in the workplace of an individual’s role and the skills applied and required to fulfil that role successfully.
We have always believed that both the business and the individual will benefit from having the people with the right training & skills. The NVQ is an observation and confirmation of what the individual is doing and a self development which confirms they have the necessary skills to perform the job they are doing.
Trelawny were the first company in the industry to achieve the Investor In People standard in 2003 and firmly believe in giving staff the opportunity to develop themselves as an individual and as part of the Trelawny team. The NVQ forms a key role towards this.
Congratulations to all involved!
